Robert Bateman ROBERT BATEMAN
Robert Bateman, born in Toronto, developed a painting style to feature wildlife in its habitat, and encourage the examination of the natural world. He is a world-renowned artist, naturalist and spokesperson for many environmental and preservation issues. His honours and awards include the Officer of the Order or Canada, and the 2007 Human Rights Defender Award from Amnesty International.
